Children and adolescents can experience overwhelming emotions and circumstances as they navigate life at home and school. Some issues that they may need help processing through counseling include anxiety, depression, life-stage adjustments, sibling conflicts, defiance, emotional regulation, divorce, substance use, grief or trauma. My therapy approach is informed by play therapy, TF-CBT, and family therapy approaches that encourage healing and growth.
Relationship counseling or coaching offers hope to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both, as couples and as individuals. Therapy is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. I use the Gottman Method and an eclectic approach in counseling and coaching couples.
Family counseling offers hope in strengthening emotional connections, encouraging healthy interactions, and improving parent/child relationships. Through family therapy, I am able to offer a neutral safe place to problem solve and establish new family life patterns. I use an eclectic and integrative approach to family therapy.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience from time to time in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I seek to help you recover the motivation, perspective, and calm through therapy informed by MBCBT, CBT, and other evidence-based approaches.
